What this desk covers

Clarity Peptide Labs reads and reports the published research on three peptides studied for their effects on the brain — semax, selank and DSIP — organized around a single question: what does each contribute to the study of neuroplasticity and neurotrophic signaling, the brain's capacity to adapt and rewire itself. Each compound has its own page covering what it is, how it is proposed to work, what the primary literature actually found, what people report using it for, and the safety cautions the evidence supports.

This is a deliberately narrow lens. Semax, selank and DSIP are studied for overlapping but distinct behavioral endpoints — neuroprotection and cognition, anxiolysis, and sleep, respectively — and the evidence supporting each is at a genuinely different stage of maturity. This desk tries to say so plainly rather than blending the three into a single undifferentiated 'nootropic peptide' story.

How the desk is read

Two rules govern how a claim ends up on this site.

Every factual statement traces to a source. Findings are drawn from peer-reviewed, PubMed-indexed studies and reviews, each carrying a citation with a DOI or PubMed link on the shared references page. Where a study is a rodent model rather than a human trial, or a review rather than a primary finding, the text says so directly rather than implying stronger evidence than exists.

Community reports are kept separate from clinical evidence. Each compound page includes a section drawn from nootropic forums, peptide-user communities and biohacker writeups — genuinely useful for understanding how people describe using these compounds, but explicitly labeled as anecdotal and never presented as a clinical finding. Non-response and mixed reports are included alongside the positive ones, because leaving them out would misrepresent the actual community record.

The edges of the desk

Clarity Peptide Labs is not a clinic, a pharmacy, a supplement shop, or a vendor of any kind. Nothing here is sold, sourced or brokered, no clinician is on staff, nothing is diagnosed, and no dose, schedule or route is recommended to any person — every number that appears is exactly what a cited study used, in the species or population that study examined.

None of the three compounds discussed here is approved by the FDA for human use. Semax and selank are registered prescription medicines in Russia for specific clinical indications; DSIP has never achieved that status anywhere. Outside those narrow contexts, all three are sold, where sold at all, only as unscheduled research chemicals — material intended for laboratory research, with no regulator verifying identity, purity or sterility.
